Here at the Princess Victoria we boast a ‘traditional’ kitchen, meaning that almost everything is made in-house from scratch. We make our own sausages and pies, home-smoke and cure fresh fish and meat, and are currently dry-ageing our Cumbrian beef, all of which we source from the very best suppliers. Being an old gin palace, our drinks list focuses heavily on the spirit, boasting over 40 gin-inspired cocktails, while our wine list centres on the best of Old and New World Pinot Noir, Riesling and Rhone Valley reds.Book a Table
At Princess Victoria we pride ourselves on our menus. We source all our products from quality and trusted suppliers. Every three months you can expect the menu to change. This keeps things new and exciting for our guests. Of course we often keep some of our classics throughout the year but we like to update most items. This also means we make changes to our Set Menus which we offer to our group and event bookings so if you regularly book with us you can always expect new and exciting flavours.
We source all of our produce for the best possible suppliers – think Cornish crab, English Wye Valley asparagus and Tamworth pork Scotch eggs – and showcase the great flavours of the ingredients in the dishes we serve. We’re always experimenting in the kitchen; currently we’re ageing our Cumbrian beef for up to 60 days to produce a really rich, intense flavour, adding another dimension to classic steak and chips.
